Make each additional order worthwhile

The aim is new business from pet owners who may never pass your shop. We review the margin, handling time and repeat demand together.

These amounts illustrate the model and are not agreed rates. Prices, equipment terms, taxes, adjustments and payout timing are agreed in the contract. Barkiva’s markup also covers its own costs.

Questions before we start

How are product prices set?

We agree a product price with your store, with the proposed model using a price slightly below your shelf price. Barkiva adds its own markup to set the customer product price. The customer’s delivery charge equals delivery cost. Commercial terms remain negotiable.

Do we need a new POS terminal?

We can provide a POS terminal, or you can use your compatible device with our app. We agree device ownership, any costs, compatibility and printer setup before launch.

Can we decline an order or manage busy periods?

Your team can accept or decline incoming orders. Availability, opening hours and pause controls are proposed tools to help manage capacity. We confirm the setup and operating rules together.

Who handles bags, pickup and delivery?

Barkiva supplies the bags. Your team packs the products and attaches the printed order slip. Our courier collects orders ready for the agreed pickup window and delivers them to customers. Packaging arrangements and collection responsibilities are agreed during onboarding.

When do we get paid, and what about returns?

Payout timing, adjustments, cancellations, returns, damaged goods and missed collections are defined in the agreement. The app is intended to give you a clear view of orders and settlements, with an agreed support contact for issues.

What makes the partnership worthwhile for our store?

The opportunity is additional orders from customers beyond your usual footfall, using your existing stock and team. We measure contribution after variable costs, preparation time and repeat purchases during the pilot. Results depend on demand, prices and operating costs.
